This coverage guarantees you protection in case of accident (impact, collisions or overturning), enabling the charge to be partially dispensed with, whenever CDW is requested or included in the tariff.

Baby seat (2 to 4 years) and Booster Seat (from 4 years)*
In order that your child can enjoy the journey with the family to the maximum, Guerin can provide you with baby seats of various sizes, in compliance with the regulations, providing maximum comfort and safety in all situations.

Additional drivers may be designated, if you would like other family members, friends or colleagues to be able to drive the vehicle. All must be over 21 years old or 25 years for some groups: G (e.g.. Audi A4), L (e.g.. VW Passat STW), H (e.g.. MB Class E), and R (e.g.. Nissan Pathfinder), and have held a driving license for over a year. An additional amount is paid for each extra driver.

PAI - Special Personal Accident Insurance
This service guarantees you grater levels of protection, both for yourself and the other occupants, covering:
- Medical expenses up to a minimum of €5,000 per person.

- Indemnity against death or permanent invalidity, up to a maximum of €50,000.

- Coverage for luggage and personal articles within the vehicle, in case of theft.

As is the case with any insurance policy, exclusions apply, both for stolen articles and for recovery of values involved.

Public Liability Insurance is included in the rental price. In Portugal, it is obligatory to travel with limited Public Liability Insurance for death or personal injury (including to passengers), and for damage to third-party property, up to a specific amount.

Because driving should be a pleasure and not a source of worry, Guerin is making SCDW available to you, reducing or even eliminating liability responsibility.

We know that you value, above all, the security of complete calmness when dealing with potential accidents or unforeseen circumstances. Therefore, with this service, your liability is automatically excluded in most situations which may result in significant damage during the rental period. However, you do remain responsible for an amount whose value is contained in the terms of the rate applicable to you.

This option is available for all vehicles, except luxury, and all-terrain, for a value/day which varies according to the rental group.
