Guerin strengthens its presence in the North with new Perafita station

Guerin has inaugurated a new and modern station in Perafita, in the municipality of Matosinhos, reinforcing its presence in the north of the country. With around 3,800 m², it is one of the largest locations in the brand’s network and now provides direct support to the Porto Airport station. 

Designed to enhance the customer experience, the new station features a spacious and modernized interior, ensuring greater comfort and service efficiency. The station is equipped with digital self-service kiosks, allowing for a fully autonomous, simpler, and more efficient rental process. 

In terms of sustainability, the branch incorporates an innovative water recycling system, developed in-house by Guerin, which reduces water consumption in vehicle washing by up to 80% and minimises the use of chemicals. This system operates in conjunction with a high-performance internal carwash, fitted with a multifunctional washing gantry that offers various wash programmes, ensuring high standards of cleanliness while reducing environmental impact. 

Additionally, the station includes a rainwater collection and storage system, contributing to more efficient water resource management. It is also equipped with its own fuel pump, which ensures greater operational autonomy and convenience. In line with the energy transition and the evolution of mobility, electric vehicle charging points are also planned and will be installed soon. 

The inauguration was attended by Guerin’s General Manager, members of the leadership team, employees, and strategic partners who support the brand’s ongoing growth. 

With this new opening, Guerin now has over 40 stations across the country, including four in the Porto metropolitan area, further strengthening its commitment to mobility, innovation, and proximity to customers.
